Personally, I have been involved in IT since 1982 when I started as a Trainee Software Engineer in the defence Industry. I had a number of roles from Supervisor, Team Leader to Project Manager.

Leaving Defence for the private sector I joined Associated Newspapers where I was till 1995. Working for their production arm I started as a duty manager supervising their move from their historical equipment and production processes to the most modern in the world. Promoted to Head of IT I enjoyed a number of years there supporting their heavily automated production plant and network infrastructure.

The Total Package was formed in 1995 from a belief that most small to medium businesses do not have access to the IT skills needed to run their businesses and especially to help them grow. It is this consultancy that I have grown since, working for many high profile clients, some of which have been with us since day one.
