About Us

Computer Doctors of Maine is a – deliberately – small company with extensive experience in cloud platforms, solutions consulting, and Microsoft network management.  In 2009 we launched SiteBento Managed Website Services, a SaaS business model for corporate web presence.  SiteBento, in many ways, was an experiment at shaking up traditional web design.  We combined a powerful content management system with proven techniques for successful websites, but that was only the beginning.

Our IT experience served as a pillar for helping our clients communicate and collaborate.  Although we had years of experience with Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint, we chose Google Apps for Business as our preferred communication and collaboration solution.  With the expansion of Google Apps through the Google Apps Marketplace, we started offering cloud options for our clients.  With some being more demanding than others, we now help clients launch simple cloud-apps as well as run extensive Amazon EC2 infrastructure. Those clients include a few small offices all the way to global companies with staff in multiple continents.

By 2011 our vision continued to evolve. Even though Google Apps for Business helped our clients do more – and do it better – the social media piece kept creeping up.  Although we never dismissed the value of social media, we found that many small companies (and all big ones) had to invest extensive resources to manage their online reputations.   We found that small companies often thought it was sufficient to simply post on FaceBook/Twitter/etc, while large ones struggled with addressing complaints that could spread like wild fires.

While the Computer Doctors of Maine, Inc. mission and vision continued to evolve, so did the Social Contact Resource Management world.   We have been watching the social media industry carefully for the past 12 months, and  stand behind Nimble as the company on track to deliver a world-class social CRM solution.
